Two separate agencies in the Colorado Springs area have put out public appeals for help finding missing teenage girls, both 13 years old. The Colorado Springs Police Department is working to locate a teen girl it has classified as at-risk, who was last observed around 9 p.m. on Saturday, July 18, in the vicinity of East Platte Avenue and South Academy Boulevard.
CSPD identified the teen as Oriannys Gonzalez, described as a Hispanic girl. Details beyond her identity, physical description, and last known location were not fully available in the sources at the time of publication.
In a separate case southeast of the city, the El Paso County Sheriff's Office is searching for a 13-year-old named Mikenzi, who was last seen in the Security-Widefield area after leaving her home near the intersection of Firethorn Drive and Lone Eagle Lane, east of Sunrise Elementary School and Powers Boulevard. The Sheriff's Office did not specify the time or date when she was reported missing.
Mikenzi is described as white, standing 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing approximately 170 pounds, with light brown hair featuring purple streaks and gray-blue eyes. She departed with a backpack and takes daily medications that may be in her possession.
Anyone with knowledge of Mikenzi's location is asked to contact the El Paso County Sheriff's Office at 719-390-5555. The public is also encouraged to reach out to the Colorado Springs Police Department with any information regarding Gonzalez's whereabouts.
Both cases remain active, and further updates from either agency — including any confirmation that either teen has been located — have yet to be released.
