Every Springs Daily news story cites the reports it draws from, and every claim in a story is traceable to one of those sources. If a fact is wrong, a name is misspelled, or a date has moved, tell us.
Email editor@springsdaily.com with the story link, the sentence in question, and what you believe is correct. A link to your source helps us move faster.
What happens next
- We check the claim against the original sources and any you send.
- If the story was wrong, we correct it in place and add an “Updated” timestamp to the byline.
- If the error changed the meaning of the story, we add a correction note explaining what was wrong and when it was fixed.
- If a story cannot be substantiated, we retract it and say so.
Corrections are reviewed on business days. For time-sensitive safety information, contact the agency involved directly.
