Travelers flying out of Colorado Springs this holiday season will pay less to leave their vehicles at the airport. Colorado Springs Airport announced it is offering discounted parking during peak holiday periods in November and December, with the reduced rate applying to long-term and overflow lots from November 25–29 and December 21–27.

The discount brings the daily parking cost down to $6, compared with the standard rate of $8. No coupon is required to receive the lower price, though standard rates remain in effect outside the two promotional windows. The short-term and valet lots are not included in the promotion.

The airport's aviation director framed the discount as an effort to reduce friction for holiday travelers. Director of aviation Alex Kovacs said in a press release that "holiday travel is about connecting with the people who matter most," and described the parking discount as giving travelers "additional savings alongside the convenience and friendly service they count on from their local airport."

Travelers taking advantage of the discount can exit through either the staffed or automated lanes in the long-term lot. Airport officials are recommending that drivers allow extra time to park, citing an expected high volume of vehicles during the promotional periods.

Travelers should monitor the Colorado Springs Airport website for any updates to parking availability or procedures as the holiday windows approach.
