Colorado Springs may lack a traditional drive-in theater, but Bristol Brewing Co. is filling that gap with its Movies Under the Stars series, staged in the Bristol Schoolyard at Ivywild School, located at 1604 S. Cascade Ave.
The free screenings run on Saturday evenings in both September and October, with doors and showtimes set for 7:30 p.m. during September and an earlier 6:30 p.m. start once October arrives. Each feature is preceded by roughly thirty minutes of additional programming, either a short film or an episode from a classic sitcom.
The series launched with "Thor: Ragnarok" and is scheduled to continue with "A League of Their Own," "Zootopia," "School of Rock," and "The Dark Knight" across the remaining weekends.
