A Fountain resident took top honors at the city's Harvest Games event on October 17, winning first place with a pumpkin that tipped the scales at 1,497 pounds.
The city confirmed that the winning entry outweighed all other submissions in the Gourdzilla Fountain Giant Pumpkin Weigh-Off competition.
The Harvest Games featured additional contests beyond the weigh-off, including a pumpkin carving event and at least one other competition, though full details on all categories were not immediately available.
Further information on additional winners, final attendance figures, and the complete list of Harvest Games results has not yet been released by the City of Fountain.
