Ford Amphitheater Packs Late Summer With Major Acts

Colorado Springs' Ford Amphitheater has announced a full concert lineup running through August and September, featuring national headliners across multiple genres.

Ford Amphitheater is set for a busy stretch of summer concerts, with shows scheduled nearly every weekend through late September.

The run begins on a Saturday with The Black Crowes and Whiskey Myers, joined by special guest Southall, with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. for a 6:30 p.m. show.

Sublime then headlines Common Kings and Codefendants on Aug. 6, followed by Lindsey Stirling on Aug. 8. Sublime's set begins at 6:30 p.m., with Stirling taking the stage at 8:00 p.m.

The following weekend is particularly packed, opening Thursday, Aug. 13 with Sammy Hagar and Rick Springfield, doors at 6:00 p.m. for a 7:00 p.m. start. That Friday, Alison Krauss & Union Station featuring Jerry Douglas comes to the amphitheater, and the weekend closes Saturday with Lauren Daigle at 7:30 p.m.

Later in the month, Ty Myers, Brent Cobb, and Benny G are scheduled for Aug. 29, with Brantley Gilbert following on Saturday, Sept. 5.

Lynyrd Skynyrd with 38 Special will close out the summer slate on Saturday, Sept. 19, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m.
