CPSC Recalls 47,000 HARPPA Nordi Toddler Tower Stools — Collapse and Entrapment Risk

If you have a HARPPA Nordi Foldable Toddler Tower Stool in your home, stop using it now.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and HARPPA, Inc. issued a recall on July 30, 2026 for approximately 47,000 Nordi Foldable Toddler Tower Stools (Model HANS0002). The recalled stools can collapse or tip over while in use — and because a child's torso can fit through the openings on the front and back sides, the product poses a risk of serious injury or death from tip-over, fall, and entrapment hazards.

What Happened

HARPPA received three reports of the Nordi tower stools collapsing or tipping over. Two of those incidents resulted in injuries to children — including scrapes, cuts, and bruises. No deaths have been reported.

The recall specifically affects the Nordi Foldable Toddler Tower Stool, Model HANS0002. Parents who are unsure whether their stool is covered should check the model number on their product, or visit the HARPPA recall page directly for confirmation.

What to Do

Parents should stop using the recalled stools immediately and store them away from children. HARPPA is offering a free repair kit — including protective nets and stabilizing feet — that can be installed at home using the included instructions. Shipping is free.
