Colorado Springs residents with disabilities can now sign up for the city's fall Therapeutic Recreation Program, with spots available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The City of Colorado Springs opened registration for the fall session of its Therapeutic Recreation Program, which provides individuals with disabilities recreational opportunities running from September through December.

The program covers a broad spectrum of activity categories — including arts and culture, community outings, outdoor adventures, social activities, sports, fitness, and aquatics — with specific offerings ranging from rock climbing and cycling to dance, improv, archery, boxing, golf, and seasonal excursions, according to city officials.
