Target Recalls 211,000 Cat & Jack Toddler Sandals Over Choking Hazard
If you bought Cat & Jack toddler sandals at Target this spring, check the closet before your child puts them on again. The CPSC has announced a recall of approximately 211,000 pairs of Cat & Jack toddler girls' sandals due to a choking hazard โ the decorative plastic pearls on the shoes can detach, posing a risk of serious injury or death.
Target received 23 reports of the pearls falling off the sandals. No injuries have been reported, but the CPSC classified the detached pearls as a risk of serious injury or death given the age group affected โ toddlers in sizes 5T through 12T.
