SHEIN Recalls About 963 Spiral Toys Due to Choking Hazard for Children Under 3
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced that SHEIN Distribution Corporation is recalling about 963 spiral toys because small ball components violate the federal small ball ban for toys intended for children under age 3. If you've ordered this type of toy from SHEIN in the past year, here's what to know.

The recalled product is a spiral toy that comes with stackable colored platforms โ three, five, or seven platforms depending on the model โ and several small yellow plastic balls topped with bear-shaped heads. The toy also has a basket component at the top. It was marketed and sold on SHEIN.com, priced between $6 and $16.
The problem is in those small balls. Federal law prohibits small ball components in toys intended for children younger than 3 because they can lodge completely in a child's airway and cause choking or death. The balls in this toy meet the definition of a prohibited small ball for that age group.
Sales Window
The toys were sold exclusively on SHEIN.com from September 2025 through May 2026. This is SHEIN's fourth recall for violations of the small ball ban since August 2025, according to the CPSC and reporting from Medical Daily. If you've purchased any spinning or stacking toy from SHEIN during that window that includes small ball components, it's worth checking the CPSC recall page to confirm whether you have the recalled product.
No injuries have been reported in connection with this recall.
