SHEIN Pull & Chew Montessori Teething Toy Recall: What Colorado Springs Parents Need to Know

The Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued a recall for SHEIN Pull & Chew Montessori Teething Toys, and parents who purchased these products need to act now. About 644 units are affected. The hazard is serious: the silicone strings on the toys are smaller and longer than safety standards allow, and the CPSC warns they can reach the back of a young child's throat and become lodged, causing respiratory distress and posing a deadly choking risk.

Which Products Are Recalled

The recalled items are SHEIN Pull & Chew Montessori Teething Toys. They're made of silicone and come in four colors: green, pink, yellow, and blue. Each toy has four strings in varying colors. The products were sold in a clear and white plastic pouch labeled "BABY PRODUCTS" and "Crafted in Gentle Care."

They were sold exclusively on SHEIN.com from December 2025 through April 2026 for approximately $10 each.

This recall is separate from the SHEIN Spiral Toys recall issued earlier in September. If you purchased any SHEIN baby or toddler products in the past year, check each item against the description above.

What to Do If You Have These Toys

1. Stop using them immediately. Take them away from children right away.
2. Cut the silicone strings. The CPSC requires destruction of the toy before a refund is issued.
3. Email productrecall@shein.com with a photo of the destroyed toy. SHEIN will issue a full refund. You do not need to mail the toy back.

Why Silicone String Toys Carry This Risk

The mandatory federal safety standard for toys sets specific limits on how long and how thin silicone strings on teething products can be, precisely because of the anatomy of an infant's airway.
