Liberty High School Hosts Free Community Car Show September 26 — CTE Program Puts Student Work on Display

Colorado Springs families have a free reason to head to north Colorado Springs this Saturday. Liberty High School in Academy District 20 is hosting the Liberty Lancers Car Show on September 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 8720 Scarborough Dr.

The event is free for spectators and showcases the school's Career and Technical Education program — specifically the Automotive Service Technology track, which trains students in hands-on vehicle repair and maintenance. Families don't need to own a car or know anything about engines to have a good time. Food trucks, a demolition demo, and the Colorado State Patrol's modified Mustang are part of the lineup.
