CPSC Recall: Magnetic Fidget Toy Sent a Child to the Hospital — Plus a Baby Walker Recall

Two new CPSC product recalls this week target toys and infant products that may be in homes right now — and one of them already resulted in a child being hospitalized.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has recalled PIXLABBY Magnetic Fidget Sliders, sold on Amazon, after confirming that a child removed the silicone casing, ingested two magnets, and was hospitalized. A separate recall covers Wnttmt Baby Walkers, also sold on Amazon, which can pass through standard doorways and fail to stop at step edges — creating a serious fall and entrapment risk for infants.

If you have either of these products, stop using them immediately.

What to do Stop use immediately; email ah1998zxc@gmail.com with a photo of the disposed toy to receive a full refund

The hazard with high-powered magnets is well-documented and particularly dangerous for children. When two or more magnets are swallowed separately, they can attract each other across different segments of the intestines. Surgery is often required to address the damage. The CPSC has been consistent in its warnings about high-powered magnetic toys in recent years, and this recall fits a pattern of products that underestimate how quickly children can separate components intended to stay together.

Wnttmt Baby Walkers

Wnttmt Baby Walkers — CPSC Recall Details
Detail Information
Units recalled Approximately 1,310
Where sold Amazon.com
Hazard Walker is narrow enough to fit through a standard doorway; fails to stop at the edge of a step — serious fall and entrapment risk
What to do Stop use immediately; contact wbabywalker-recall@outlook.com for a refund

Baby walkers with this defect are prohibited under federal standards precisely because stair falls are one of the leading causes of infant serious injury. A walker that can fit through a standard doorway and doesn't brake at a step edge puts an infant directly in the path of a fall they have no way to prevent.

What's Next

If you purchased either of these products on Amazon, check your order history — both were available through Amazon and may have arrived without any safety notice. The CPSC announced 17 total product recalls on a single day in early August 2026, a volume that reflects ongoing issues with products sold through online marketplaces that bypass traditional retail safety screening. For the most current list of children's product recalls, visit cpsc.gov/Recalls and consider bookmarking it or signing up for email alerts. These recalls are published regularly and often reach parents too late — sharing this information with other families in your network is one of the most useful things you can do.
