Fire Crews Respond to Dramatic Freefall Fire at Local Facility
Colorado Springs fire crews responded to a fire at a local recreational facility this week. The blaze was contained quickly and no injuries were reported.
The fire broke out in an equipment area and produced dramatic flames that were visible from nearby roads. Multiple fire units responded to the scene.
"Our crews did an outstanding job containing the fire before it could spread to occupied areas," said a spokesperson for the Colorado Springs Fire Department.
